Enjoy Pastries, Breakfast, Lunch, And More At This Delicious, Welcoming Bakery In Astoria, Oregon

Blue Scorcher Bakery Café makes outstanding bread, pastries, and other baked goods. They also serve tasty breakfast and lunch items. It's a favorite brunch and lunch spot in Astoria — and definitely my go-to breakfast and lunch spot when I'm in town. I'm particularly fond of their chocolate chip cookies, soups, and bagels.

Everything Blue Scorcher Bakery Café makes is from scratch and you can taste the care and ingenuity in every bite. It’s also a worker-owned cooperative with a mission to create delicious food, facilitate joyful work, and build community. From scrumptious tarts to hearty loaves, you'll want to try everything! Located on the corner of 15th and Duane Streets in downtown Astoria, everything is locally sourced and organic when possible, and made with with love.

There's plenty of seating inside as well as sidewalk seating for days when the weather cooperates!

Walk up to the counter to order.

The bakery bakes a variety of breads including French bread, traditional sourdough, high-hydration whole wheat sourdough, handmade bagels, and more.

Baked goods include cookies, scones, cinnamon rolls, chocolate croissants, cardamom almond rolls, and oatcakes.

A warning from the bakery owners: "Whether you visit the bakery, line up at our farmers market booths, or stop by a coffee shop that features our pastries, you are sure to find something to satisfy your sweet tooth. Beware, though - many people have told us our pastries can be habit-forming."

The menu includes a range of enticing egg dishes, sandwiches, salads, and soups.

There's definitely something for everyone!
