The Restaurant In Oregon That Was Named One Of The Best In The World

Nong's Khao Man Gai is a wonderfully unique restaurant and food cart in Portland. Recently, this amazing eatery was featured on Condé Nast Traveler's list of the best restaurants in the world. Read on to find out about what makes this unassuming little restaurant so very special:

Nong's Khao Man Gai is a fantastic food cart and restaurant that has been around since 2009, serving delicious Thai chicken and rice.

The restaurant specializes in their namesake dish: Khao Man Gai.

This delicious chicken and rice dish is a popular Thai food that originally hailed from China. At Nong's, you'll be blown away by the amazing way this simple meal has been perfected. (And you'll be dreaming about their homemade sauce for weeks).

There are three locations, all in Portland. There's a food cart downtown, a food cart at PSU, and a brick and mortar restaurant in Southeast.

While the food carts keep it simple with only one item on the menu (the legendary Khao Man Gai, of course) the brick and mortar restaurant in SE Portland offers a couple of other options as well, including pork and rice, tofu and rice, and peanut sauce.

Not only is it delicious - the food here is also both healthy and sustainable.

Head over to Nong's Khao Man Gai for a delicious, unforgettable meal.
