Explore The Flavors Of Mexico, South America, And The Mediterranean At This Inspired Tapas Bar In Oregon

Are you dreaming of a vibrant, unique meal that tastes like travel? Head to Bar Rio in Bend where you can explore the flavors of Mexico, South America, and the Mediterranean in one dining experience. This beloved Central Oregon tapas and cocktail bar is on my list to visit the next time I'm in Bend.

Bar Rio is a local favorite spot for cocktails and tapas.

I love the gorgeous turquoise bar. Bar Rio's inventive, delicious cocktails are legendary.

"A mosaic of flavors await you," says Bar Rio's website.

I'm looking forward to trying the Chavurah cocktail with jalapeño tequila, pomegranate, lime, cardamom simple syrup, and a sumac rim.

For food, choose from the tapas menu, which includes tacos, potatoes bravas, salads, hummus and pita, Cuban sliders, and more.

I especially want to try the fried plantains with carnitas and guacamole.

The bright blue and stark white lend a tropical, festive vibe that's the perfect match for the brightly colorful cocktails.

Bar Rio is also affiliated with several enticing food carts, including Barrio Midtown Yacht Club, Shimshon Midtown Yacht Club, and Shimshon The Grove.

To check out the menu or for more information about this hidden gem in Oregon, visit the Bar Rio website. If your visit to this Bend hotspot includes a drive, you may want to stock up on car-friendly snacks for the drive there — but be sure to save room for tapas! We strongly recommend you arrive hungry!
