There’s A New Bear Themed Beer Bar In Oregon, And It’s Enchanting

Oregon's wine country is well-known, but the Beaver State's bourgeoning beer scene is impossible to ignore. Nor would you want to ignore it, as Oregon has some of the best breweries and ale houses in the PNW! The newest kid (or cub, as it were) on the Oregon beer block is BenBear’s Beers, a bear-themed beer bar in Portland. Come for the drinks, stay for the ambience, and return for the experience... this delightful new spot is going to become your new favorite.

The Beaver State's beer scene has exploded in recent years, making it hard for newcomers to stand out. But BenBear's Beer most certainly stands out.

Benbear's Beers is a long-time member of The Lot, a bustling food cart pod in Portland; but in 2021, the bear-themed pub opened its "new and improved" Tap House in the space formerly occupied by Scout Beer.

Benbear's new space is very, beary cool. Open and airy, with bold colors and lots of Ursidae decor, it's a delightful change of pace from the typical bar scene.

They've really committed to the whole bear theme, and we're here for it! Because what's more Oregon than the rough-and-rugged bear? (Well, except maybe a rough-and-rugged beaver...)

No matter what your preferred drink is, you'll find it here. This taproom-only space highlights the Beaver State's burgeoning beer scene, focusing on local and small-to-medium sized breweries and cideries, plus wine, Maui hard seltzer, CBD elixir, coffee, and tea.

The vibe here is simultaneously rugged and rustic *and* welcoming and warm, just like Oregon. It's a place you'll want to congregate in long after happy hour's over!
