Sharp’s BBQ Has Some Of The Best Small Town Barbecue In All Of Oklahoma
Discover Sharp’s Barbecue in Piedmont, a takeout-only spot known for its delicious ribs and meats.
I love discovering new dining gems tucked away in one of our small towns across the state. I recently stumbled upon Sharp's Barbecue in the town of Piedmont and it's worth the trip to indulge in their tasty ribs and meats. They are wildly popular but don't expect much as far as the restaurant goes. It's located in an unassuming building that only offers takeout. Keep scrolling for more details.
Sharp's Barbecue opened in May 2018 in the town on Piedmont by a father-son duo. There is no inside seating, so be prepared you'll need to sit outside on one of the picnic benches or take it to go.
The menu is posted outside the building and features meats by the pound, sandwiches, sides, and dinner plates.
They buy local meat every week and then the magic happens in the kitchen at the restaurant. They have a special method for cooking the meat, along with a secret sauce and rub.
The ribs are very popular and fall off the bone. Imagine how tasty dinner would be if you stopped by on your way home and picked up a tray of these bad boys.
You'll find six different sandwich options, including a hotlink/polish one for only $6.
The Wildcat is $8 and comes with pulled pork, hotlink, coleslaw, and provolone cheese.
They are open Thursday from 4-8 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Tucked away on Route 66, just off the Turner Turnpike between Tulsa and Oklahoma City, is another insanely delicious bbq stand in the small town of Wellston. It's run by another father-son duo and they have won multiple awards for their bbq. Click here to learn more about this place.
