We all know Oklahoma has some amazing barbecue joints, and everyone has their favorites, BUT sometimes you travel to other cities or you're looking for new mouth-watering BBQ spots. All of these places on our list are a must-visit and who knows, you may find a new favorite.
1. Bob's Pig Shop: Paul's Valley
The brisket at Bob's Pig Shop is cooked whole then the fat is removed to give it a delicious flavor and good moisture. The sides are all great and it is a favorite in Paul's Valley.
2. Burn Co Barbecue: Tulsa
The line outside everyday speaks to how incredible Burn Co really is. If you go once, you will be back for sure.
3. Butcher's BBQ Stand: Wellston
Butcher's BBQ represents Oklahoma barbecue very well. Not only is the Butcher's Sauce and food delicious but the atmosphere makes it a fun experience, as well.
4. Frisco Creek BBQ: Hobart
Try the pork sandwich and homemade peach cobbler for a delicious BBQ meal in Hobart.
5. JL's Barbeque: Pryor
A longtime favorite for BBQ in Pryor. Great prices and great tasting barbecue will keep you coming back to JL's.
6. KC's Smokehouse: Ardmore
(Note: as of August 27, 2020, KC's Smokehouse is permanently closed). Try the German sausage or pulled pork with yummy Texas toast or fried okra.
7. Leos Barbeque: Oklahoma City
This iconic BBQ spot has been serving "real" barbecue since 1974. Enjoy hickory-smoked meats and fresh sides for a mouth-watering meal.
8. Stutts House of Bar-B-Que: Tulsa
Stutts is one of those places you know you can always get great flavored BBQ cooked to perfection. The menu has all the barbecue staples plus delicious sides and even buttermilk pie.
9. Pigskin Barbeque: Ada
The best BBQ in Ada with superb ribs and a friendly staff.
10. Iron Star Urban Barbeque: Oklahoma City
A sophisticated restaurant serving great BBQ and other menu items in an urban setting.
