Once upon a time, 17 River Street hosted Jekyll's Kitchen, a spot known for having the best views in Chagrin Falls. However, in August of 2020, the space opened with a refreshed menu and new vibe under the name 17 River Grille.

17 River Grille specializes in burgers, fish, and steak, with everything locally sourced when possible and prepared fresh in-house.

I love locally sourced food, because you're supporting several local businesses when you dig in. In addition to excellent ingredients and delicious dishes, this place also serves up a feast for the eyes. Chagrin Falls is home to an urban waterfall, and it's right next door to the restaurant.

Truly, there's something on the menu for everyone here.

Side options like mac and cheese, house-made coleslaw, and bacon Brussels sprouts allow you to balance out every meal with a bit of oomph. If you're craving something sweeter, swing by at brunch or save some room for dessert.

And the ambiance? It's truly next-level.

The space is rich and elegant, but it's also fairly open concept with seats oriented toward the floor-to-ceiling windows. It's a great place to grab a glass of wine... most of their offerings are American, coming from boutique and regional producers.

Outside, the three patios and River Bar accommodate up to 120 guests.
