Order A One-Foot-Long Sandwiches At This Roadside Stop In Greater Cleveland

Restaurants come and go, but a few newcomers just capture local attention in a unique way. It's no wonder locals are already buzzing about Hooked, a new restaurant in Warrensville Heights where seafood and chicken lovers unite for a dining experience that's simply unforgettable. Their generously sized sandwiches are a true indulgence, and the entire menu is nothing short of scrumdiddlyumptious. Whether you come for the fried food or pasta, Hooked Restaurant promises a flavor journey that will leave you "hooked" from the very first bite. Get the good dishes out, because many locals would argue that this food is best enjoyed as carryout.

In early 2024, Hooked Restaurant opened its doors in Warrensville Heights.

Open Tuesday through Saturday, this new restaurant concept was an instant splash. As the name playfully implies, seafood is a staple option here, but there's so much more that has caught local attention.

Inside, a casual and unfussy vibe sets the scene for food to take center stage.

A handful of tables allow for an intimate dining experience. The turnaround time is fast, so while you'll have to sit through delectable, mouthwatering aromas for a few minutes, your food will be served soon.

However, locals have really embraced this roadside stop as a carryout joint.

Whether you're grabbing a mid-day lunch or picking up dinner for an at-home date night, you can always count on a delicious carryout from Hooked Restaurant. And the servings? Why, they're nothing short of decadent.

The menu is modest, but each option is packed with big flavor.

From pastas to fish fries and handhelds, this new restaurant in Warrensville Heights never disappoints. Clevelanders in particular love the Polish boy options, as they're massive foot-long entrees that might even last you more than one meal.

In fact, the handhelds in general, all one foot long, have caused a local buzz.

This is what a foot long sandwich should look like. Piled high with toppings with an artful flourish of sauce, things might get a bit messy, but your taste buds will thank you.

Of course, the fried options open up a whole new world of indulgence, too.

From catfish dinner to fried chicken and fried jumbo shrimp, each meal is perfectly breaded and satisfyingly crispy. Come hungry, because the portions here are no joke.

Of course, there's also pasta, plenty of sides, and dessert.

I'm a pasta fan myself, and alfredo is one of my all-time faves. At Hooked, you can pile it up with chicken, lamb chop, or shrimp... unless you opt for the Rasta Pasta, which is a spicy entree that takes everything to a new level. Whatever you decide on, I recommend saving room for the beignets. You won't regret it!
