The oldest and largest brewery in North Dakota has much more than just great craft beer. This Fargo company has a popular taproom downtown, but also a restaurant more people should know about. Their special menu is perfectly made to accompany their drinks, and you've got to try it.
Fargo Brewing is North Dakota's oldest and largest brewery. Along with their taproom in downtown Fargo, they also have the Ale House in another part of the city.
The Ale House is a wonderful restaurant where you can try Fargo Brewing's awesome beers on tap along with perfectly complementary meals.
In their beautifully modern dining area you can try some of the many beers on tap along with their absolutely scrumptious menu.
If you're planning on sampling beers and just want an overall great accompanying thing to snack on, their meat, cheese, and pickle plates are perfect. The Brewery Board is especially great with most any drink.
This isn't just a small plates and board kind of place, though. What they are especially known for are their awesome grilled sandwiches. Every grilled sandwich comes with house-made pickles and kettle chips.
From a classic, gooey grilled ham and cheese to a croissant piled high with brined turkey, Swiss cheese, cranberry sage mayo and more, they've got quite the selection.
The Ale House's beer brat is especially great, too. It's topped with a mustard onion sauce and can also come with beer cheese and sauerkraut.
Not in the mood for a sandwich? Drool-worthy BBQ ribs, pretzels, flatbreads, and quesadillas are a few of the other options you'll find here. Yum!
Finish off your tasty drink and meal with a fantastic brownie for dessert and you'll certainly be glad you stopped by the Fargo Brewing Ale House.
