The building was originally a service station decades ago, but in 2019, it was officially reopened as Atypical Brewery & Barrelworks - and people love it.
Both inside and out, the place has a sort of whimsical feel. There is seating inside and a patio outside in front of the garages when the weather is nice.
As you might expect, Atypical isn't a place where you're going to get your usual canned beer. They are a craft brewery creating an ever-changing list of microbrews, specifically barrel-aged ales and more unique drinks.
Their creations are nothing short of amazing. Ranging from IPAs to stouts, and plenty of ales, of course, there is plenty of things to try and new brews all the time. Each batch is brewed with a lot of care and passion for the craft.
