This one intimate restaurant over on Frenchman has been churning out some of the best Creole-Italian food in New Orleans since 1997 and it's time you pay them a visit.
Nestled along the vibrant Frenchman stands a fairly unassuming restaurant that’s one of the best in town when it comes to Creole-Italian food.
Adofo’s opened its doors in 1997 and they’ve steadily been growing quite the fan base ever since.
Tiny but mighty, this cozy little cash-only restaurant will quickly capture your heart.
The dining room only seats about 30 people, so it’s best to call ahead and make a reservation.
Long-time patrons of this hidden gem will tell you that their mussels are the star of the show.
Get some for the table to share, you won’t be disappointed.
As for the menu, you can expect a healthy array of hearty Creole-Italian cuisine.
Pasta dishes, seafood and an assortment of beef, poultry, and pork dishes.
Their cannelloni will send your tastebuds into another dimension.
Choose from crabmeat and corn, spinach and ricotta, or spinach and Italian sausage.
From pasta to steak, their menu will accommodate just about everyone.
Just a reminder that their house rules are that everyone must order an entree, and that the restaurant is cash-only. There’s an ATM downstairs if you forget!
Their rack of lamb might just be the best in the city.
This dish is melt-in-your-mouth good. Keep in mind that everything is cooked to order here, so order a few appetizers and maybe a bottle of wine while you wait. Perfection takes time, after all.
