The bar and restaurant may not quite look like it, but it is 183 years old! Initially, it was a saloon known as La Cantina del Canon that served food and drinks. The building's ownership changed hands several times over the decades, though it always remained a restaurant and bar.
It became El Farol in the 1980s and the award-winning restaurant has been serving tasty Spanish food (like tapas and paella) to the community since.
