Michael’s Kitchen Restaurant & Bakery Has Been Serving Up Delicious Food In New Mexico Since 1974

Welcome to Michael's Kitchen Restaurant & Bakery.

You'll find this lovely gem in Taos, and it's been serving delicious food and bakery treats since 1974.

This popular place serves as many as 1,200 people a day, but you won't usually have to wait long for a table because it has seating for up to 136 diners at once.

The service is fast and friendly, and the breakfast menu is full of delicious ways to start your day. Try a tasty omelet loaded with veggies, sausage, ham, and cheese.

Looking for a sweet start to your day? Try a homemade cinnamon roll, or banana pancakes, covered in whipped cream.

If you're dining for lunch, try the red and green chile. It's one of the house specialties, and it's made fresh here every day... 50 gallons of it.

How about a couple of plates piled high with enchiladas, rice, and beans? The huge sopapillas on the side are delicious, too!

Have you saved some room for dessert? We sure hope so, because the bakery case is stuffed full of divine desserts.

You'll have a difficult time choosing between the apple fritters, donuts, bear claws, cream puffs and more.

Michael's Kitchen Restaurant & Bakery closes every October for a couple of months to thoroughly clean and update the restaurant. It will reopen on December 7th.

Normal hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., every day of the week.
