The restaurant's website notes that it's a place that's brought generations of Hoboken families together! They know they have this place to connect over.
It's a family-owned restaurant. Leo and Tessie DiTerlizzi were a married couple who originally founded it as a tavern.
However, Tessie started making dinners in her kitchen and bringing it to the bar. Before long, a restaurant was formed.
They also decided on a restaurant theme early on: The couple decided to honor iconic musician Frank Sinatra.
Even today, you'll see posters of him all over the wall and his music will play on the jukebox.
