This Remote Nebraska Restaurant Has The Most Magnificent Views While You Eat

Set on a rolling hilltop in the North Loup River Valley, Miletta Vista Winery offers some of the most stunning views in central Nebraska. When you enjoy a meal at the winery's excellent restaurant, you'll be treated to a side of beautiful scenery. It's far enough removed from surrounding towns that you can see gorgeous countryside views in just about every direction.

Located near St. Paul, Miletta Vista is one of the area's most beloved wineries.

They first opened in 2007, but in 2012 the original winery was completely destroyed in a tragic fire.

Not willing to be ruined by a setback, the owners rebuilt and the new facility was ready less than a year after the fire.

Its hilltop orientation allows for incredible 360-degree views of the surrounding valley.

Visitors can look out over the grapevines and for miles beyond.

Fall is when the scenery really starts to shine.

The valley goes from a vibrant green to deep golds, oranges, and yellows.

While the wine and the views here are certainly some of the best in the state, that's far from all that Miletta Vista has to offer.

In 2016, the winery hired a talented executive chef to run their restaurant. You can now enjoy amazing gourmet meals - inside, or outside on the covered deck - while gazing out on the lovely surroundings.

This isn't the usual cheese and crackers winery fare. This is upscale dining, and it will fill you up.

If you linger over your meal and a perfectly paired wine long enough, you may just get to see the sun setting over one of the prettiest places in the state.
