6. Pinewood Kitchen & Mercantile - Nunnelly
Nashville folks looking to escape the hipsters at Pinewood Social need to head out to Nunnelly for Pinewood Kitchen, which is not affiliated. Here, you'll find real country cooking, like this barbecue chicken plate that has us drooling. 951 TN-48.

The Old School sits out in the reaches of Bells Bend just outside of Nashville and focuses on locally sourced, farm-to-table food in an old converted school house. The menu always changes, but everything is always fresh. 5022 Old Hydes Ferry Pike, Nashville.

The Readyville Mill is a 19th-century mill that has been turned in to a country restaurant, and everything is amazing. The pancakes are out of this world, so we highly recommend breakfast. 5418 Murfreesboro Rd.
3. The Beacon Light Tea Room - Bon Aqua
Bon Aqua might not be much more than a crossroads, but the Beacon Light Tea Room shouldn't be overlooked if you're in the area. They've been serving up their famous homemade biscuits since 1936, and you know they're doing something right if they've been around for that long. 6276 TN-100.
