Huge Hamburgers Are The Specialty At Hall Of Fame Restaurant, A Tiny Restaurant In Small Town Mississippi

Hall of Fame Restaurant in Bentonia, Mississippi, serves some of the world's best burgers in an unassuming shack.

You can get a good burger just about anywhere. But if it’s the world’s best burger you’re after, you’ll have to head to Hall of Fame Restaurant in small-town Mississippi. Housed in an unassuming shack, it may just be one of the state’s best-kept secrets. Take a look:

Small town Mississippi is full of delicious surprises and Hall of Fame Restaurant in Bentonia is definitely one of them.

A tiny shack built with unpainted boards, it doesn’t look like much on the outside. But, as anyone who’s been around long enough knows, looks can be deceiving.

Unbeknownst to many, the unassuming eatery actually serves up incredible burgers that are equal parts hearty and tasty – and that’s no coincidence.

When owner David Brown, brother of NFL Hall of Famer Willie Brown, opened the restaurant, he did so with the intent of serving the world’s best burgers. The burgers would be so good, according to Brown, that they’d be worthy of being inducted into the Hall of Fame – hence the restaurant’s name.

The Hall of Fame theme doesn’t end with the quality of the burgers, though. Scan the menu, and you’ll quickly notice that the eatery’s burgers bear some familiar names – and that’s because they’re all named after football players from Mississippi.

The delicious hamburgers have received the stamp of approval from diners and critics alike. In fact, in 2013, Hall of Fame Restaurant was visited by Walt Grayson of WLBT’s Look Around Mississippi.

And just like all the patrons before him, Walt confirmed that the hamburgers are well deserving of Hall of Fame status.

Proof that good things come in small packages, Hall of Fame Restaurant is definitely bucket list worthy.

Hall of Fame Restaurant is open Monday – Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. For more information, call (662) 755-8330.
