This Enchanting Garden Restaurant In Minnesota Will Transport You To Another World
Saint Paul Brewing not only serves up some awesome suds, it's home to a garden restaurant in Minnesota that will make you feel like you've stepped into a different, magical world. Built from the ruins of a historic former brewery, this secret garden of a patio belongs on your Minnesota dining bucket list.
Saint Paul Brewing is housed in the former Hamm's Brewery in (you guessed it) St. Paul.
By the time Saint Paul Brewing (and its predecessor Flat Earth) occupied the property, much of it had fallen into ruin.
However, rather than undertake a costly restoration or anything of that nature, the brewery embraced the stark, mysterious beauty of the ruin, itself.
The result is a magical garden patio that is one of my favorite places to dine in the entire state of Minnesota.
The patio is closed off from the brewery's parking lot and nearby streets, surrounded by greenery, and decorated with plants and funky curiosities.
Being here is like being in another world - especially at night, when the garden is illuminated by fire and strands of lights.
The garden theme carries through to the inside of the brewery, as well.
Even the interior exudes the vibe of a secret place to which you've escaped.
No matter where you sit, though, you can partake of the brewery's incredible pub food.
The menu includes burgers, pizza, wings, and apps. On weekends, brunch is available.
And, of course, beer.
Saint Paul Brewing offers a regular rotation of its latest beers, as well as wine, cider, a handful of cocktails, and NA options.
This garden patio is simply incredible, and one of my favorite things about it is that you can enjoy a beer beside the fire any time of year.
Don't just take my word for it - head over to Saint Paul Brewing and see for yourself! For updates and information about events or specials, check out Saint Paul Brewing's Facebook page, as well. Be sure to pick up some beer to take home with you, and check out these accessories on Etsy to make sure your beer stays cold and fresh once you get it home.
