Hidden in a little town called Leeds, Maine, is an incredible winery known as Willows Awake, and the Willows Awake restaurant, No. 10 Eatery, is astounding. Travel a few roads off the beaten path and you will find a location that seems out of place. Willows Awake is a perfect getaway from normal life, and it's like stepping into an upscale dining experience. This was once an unsuspecting field down a dirt road, but it has since been transformed into a beautiful, magnolia-style location for meals and even weddings. You will not want to miss this hidden gem in Leeds, ME.

Before this beautifully and well-crafted building that houses No.10 Eatery, there was just a field.

In 2017, the process of planting vines began. One acre was planted first and then the next year seven more acres were added. The groundwork was laid and soon this little field took on shape.

Eventually, the vines grew, grapes came in, and now it's a vineyard to rival Napa Valley.

In 2020 The No.10 Eatery was opened.

The building itself is incredible to walk into. Stepping in will remind you of an elaborate HGTV build. White shiplap on the walls and black trim and inner workings make this place seem like a modern designer's dream. Simple and elegant, the quality of the interior is quite a beauty to behold. The chandelier hanging above off of the vaulted ceilings looks fit for a ballroom in your wildest imagination.

When I first hear about places to eat near me I have to go out and give it a try. This place was the talk of the town and for good reason. The restaurant part of the vineyard is called No.10 Eatery and after going once we knew we had to come back a few more times.

The interior design does not stop with just the decor. Each dish is plated to perfection.

The arrangement on the stone slaps they use as plates is inviting. Each meal is Instagram-worthy for sure and you will want to take a picture before you dig in. Every meal I have ever had looks almost too good to eat, but then again I know how great it tastes so I eventually get over the presentation and dig in.

With an array of mouthwatering delicacies, it can be hard to choose.

For an appetizer, a must-have is the delicious butternut squash soup. It’s rich and creamy and a perfect way to start this dining experience. It should be noted that they offer many specials throughout the year from seasonal flavors to delicious dishes. So make sure you go back many times to try it all.

From NY Strip Steak to Seafood Fettuccine, you have plenty of beautifully crafted and tasty dishes.

One of our favorites was the charcuterie board. They are fun shareable meals or you can keep the whole thing to yourself. This restaurant was a great place to take my wife on a date and we have even gone on a couple of double dates too. We have dined both inside and on the porch and both offer a fantastic experience I would highly recommend.

The Willows Awake restaurant, No. 10 Eatery, is like stepping into a whole new world. With indoor and outdoor seating, great food, amazing designs, and beautiful scenery this restaurant is a must. With such an upscale restaurant you would be surprised at how laid back and down-to-earth everyone is there, too. We can't recommend it enough, and the friendly staff at Willows Awake would love to show you why it's so highly recommended.
