Maurice and Lorraine Dion opened Uncle Moe's in Sabattus over 40 years ago when Maurice made the decision to go into business for himself versus traveling for a food service job he wasn't passionate about.

Nearly 20 years ago, Don Dion and his wife took over the business from Don's parents and have been running it ever since.

While the heart is the same, the inside has been redone and TVs have been added.

But the inside decor still carries the same homestyle feel of the original.

Uncle Moe's has always been known for their generous breakfast portions, but the menu has continued to expand over the years.

Along with hearty and huge choices you can also order up the delicious blueberry crisp stuffed crepe!

How about the biggest portion of banana pancakes you've ever seen?

And the hash browns are the thing that dreams are made of.

The lunch and dinner menu seem to continually expand.

And the specials are always changing.

Get lucky and can dig into the sausage, cheddar and egg stuffed crepe.

While all of these dishes are fantastic, the one you absolutely cannot miss is the famous Uncle Moe’s Burger Builder, on offer during lunch.

This awesomely meaty wonder allows you to choose from a variety of items to build a custom 6-ounce cheeseburger.
