Summer is here and so is the fun! That means lots of getting outdoors and enjoying the Maine breeze that's oh-so plentiful these days. Hiking, lakes trips, visits to camp, and hitting the beach are just a few examples of how you can enjoy your time here in Vacationland, but if you're looking for a rocking good time, you'll want to check out this swinging spot right on the beach!

If you've lived in Maine for any amount of time, you've likely heard of The Brunswick in Old Orchard Beach. Or, perhaps you know it by it's more widely shared name. Simply, "The 'Swick!"

Old Orchard Beach is one of those vacation spots that everyone in Maine knows about.

And The Brunswick goes right along with that. When the sun goes down things, admittedly, can get a little rowdy. But this place is truly lovely and we think it's worth a visit.

First, just check out its location. Right on the beach, there aren't many other spots that will give you this much fun along with these beach views.

In summers past, you would likely be shoulder-to-shoulder with a bunch of your fellow vacationers. This year, however, things will likely be much different.

The views here are simply fantastic, and it's hard to imagine a better perspective of the water.

But, what's a restaurant and bar without talking about the food? The food here is great. Including their lobster rolls.

The Brunswick is open daily from 11:00 a.m. for both lunch and dinner in the spring and summer. During the fall and winter you can visit them Monday through Wednesday when they open at 3:00 p.m. From Thursday through Sunday they serve lunch and dinner beginning at 11:00 a.m. More of a morning person?
