Open For Nearly A Century, Dining At NuWay Burgers In Kansas Is Always A Timeless Experience
NuWay Burgers in Wichita, Kansas, has been serving its unique crumbly-textured burgers for nearly a century.
We love new restaurants. There's nothing like the joy of stumbling upon a recently-opened spot and being the first of your friends to discover how tasty it is. It seems like there's a new eatery opening up every week in some areas of the Sunflower State. Even so, can anything compare to that cozy feeling of coming home when you order a meal at an old favorite? After all, if a restaurant's been around long enough, it's practically a guarantee as to the quality of food and service. One of our favorite long-standing restaurants in Kansas that's most definitely proved itself worth the hype is NuWay Burgers. This place has been delighting Kansans for almost a century.
NuWay Burgers is practically synonymous with Wichita. There are four locations throughout the city.
Each has its own decor, but expect a retro feel that's charmingly quaint and comfortably no-frills.

What makes NuWay burgers so unique is the patty's crumbled texture.
It even gives the restaurant its slogan: "Crumbly is better."
NuWay first opened up in 1930 and is still using the same original recipe today.
You won't find fancy, trendy toppings or anything off-the-wall here, just good old-fashioned hamburgers made the same way they've been for almost 100 years.
The root beer floats are almost as famous as the burgers - they're so tasty!
Fine dining it is not, but if you want a delicious, filling meal at an affordable price point, NuWay is a great option.
