Wichita, Topeka, and KCK certainly have their share of amazing eateries, but don't make the mistake of overlooking our small towns when hunting for good food! This little speck on the map has around 450 residents and it's tucked away in quiet Cheyenne County, towards the northwest corner of the state. It may be lacking in population, but it's packed with flavor, especially if you visit Big Ed's in Bird City, Kansas.

Kansas has tons of small towns, and Bird City is among them. This little town is smack in the middle of agricultural land. It spans just a few blocks and feels like a step back in time.

What you will find, though, is amazing food. The steaks are big and cooked to perfection.
