You’ve Got To Try The Amazingly Oversized Tenderloin Sandwich At Christy’s Tasty Queen In Kansas

We hope you're hungry enough for a big sandwich, Kansas! These oversized tenderloin sandwiches are perfect for a filling meal in the KC area. Have you stopped by for a big sandwich yet? It's worth the drive if you're not local, and in our opinion, you're pretty lucky if you live local.

Welcome to Kansas's pork tenderloin stop in the KC area, Christy's Tasty Queen.

Christy's is a small little burger joint that happens to be locally famous for giant pork tenderloins.

It's been open since 1983, but it originally started as Carter's Tasty Queen back in the 60s. They've been in business long enough that there haven't been many changes to the menu through the years.

These sandwiches don't mess around, but if we're honest, we like that they ignore the bun size. It's almost like you get to eat a snack before your sandwich, except it's attached!

They also make great burgers if you've already tried their pork tenderloins, but we honestly love both.

However, I'll warn you that there's no seating inside this restaurant. You'll have to either take your food back to your car or hope that the picnic tables out back have free spots for you to sit at. We hope it's not too windy out!

During regular hours, they're open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
