R-B is a must if you're in Hutch, but their belt-buster challenge is no joke. Eat this giant burger at your own peril.

You'll find fried chicken all over the state, but one of the best birds in Hays is served at Al's. Whether you like it smashed and battered or fried in a skillet, you can expect the best from every meal here. No bucket list is complete without Al's!
10. Jim's Steak House and Lounge - 1912 North Broadway, Pittsburg, Kansas
These steak tips are one of the main reasons why it's so hard to pass up Jim's Steakhouse. They're tender, cooked just how you prefer them, and make for a great meal when you just want a simple "meat and potatoes" style dinner.
11. Jerry's Again - 125 N 5th St., Atchison, Kansas
Jerry's Again? Of course! Although no one should be complaining, because this restaurant is good no matter what you've ordered. Everything from their soup to their sandwiches are recommended for filling meal at a restaurant you'll never forget.
