Hey, Hoosier mac & cheese lovers. We have excellent news for you. After many months of anticipation, an I Heart Mac & Cheese location has opened up right here in Indiana. Mac & cheese is a classic comfort food and a favorite staple of many -- and at this unique establishment, you can create your own delicious variation of it.

I Heart Mac & Cheese is located at 637 East State Road 32 in Westfield.

This franchise has locations in a few other states, but this is the first one to arrive in Indiana.

This little restaurant is simple, but it's both pleasant and charming.

But a mac & cheese themed eatery couldn't really be anything else.

The concept here is fantastic: you choose a noodle base, then add extra cheese, protein, and veggies.

Then, you can top it all off with a dressing or a sauce.

If you're stumped on where you start, you can choose one of the Chef's Specials.

The Lobster & White Truffle Mac, Baked Buffalo Chicken, Philly Cheese Steak, and Pepperoni Pizza (yes, pizza mac & cheese) are all exceptional.

You might not think a place like this would be good for those with dietary restrictions, but you'd be surprised.

The menu includes gluten free pasta, but you can also get quinoa, broccoli, cauliflower, or tater tots as a base. Load it up with veggies and non-dairy sauces to make it vegan. They even have a vegan grilled cheese sandwich!

If for some strange reason you're not in the mood for mac, you can go for a grown up grilled cheese.

You can also create your own healthy veggie bowl if you have that kind of willpower.
