Tucked away in the heart of the Kaka’ako neighborhood of Honolulu, the Aloha Beer Company is a beer lover’s paradise sure to impress everyone from casual beer drinkers to craft brew enthusiasts and those just looking for a good time.

More than just your average brewery, Aloha Beer Company crafts a dozen unique brews, including porters, IPAs, lagers, pilsners, and ales.

Tropical flavors and ingredients are showcased heavily through these brews and you’ll love guessing which flavors are used in each brew: is that blue agave syrup and bananas? Yum!

Created by Robert McGee, a noted chef, restauranteur, and pork purveyor, the menu at Aloha Beer Company was inspired by — and designed to pair perfectly with — Aloha’s signature brews. Many menu items feature beer as an ingredient and range from pupus and shared boards to sandwiches and loaded fries.

This spot is so much more than just a taproom, though: you’ll also find a hidden speakeasy on the premise. The Hi Brau Room is a stunning 1920s bordello-inspired whiskey bar and cocktail lounge sure to transport you immediately back to the days of Prohibition.

The Aloha Beer Company is open Monday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. They are closed Sunday. Reservations are accepted for groups of any size at any time in the Taproom and Carport, while groups are limited to up to 8 in the Hi Brau Room and reservations are only accepted until 6 p.m. — after this, seating is on a first-come, first-served breakfast.
