Sure, there are a lot of great restaurants in Georgia with menus to order from, but there's not much better than unlimited food when you are really feeling peckish. There are great buffets all over the state, and we've picked out a few of our favorites that we think you should check out:

1. The Carriage House Buffet of Jefferson: 1235 Athens St, Jefferson, GA 30549

The Carriage House is located in an old country home built in the 1830s, which is the perfect match for its classic Southern fare.

You'll find a huge variety of food here, with plenty of meat and vegetables on the buffet and a great salad bar. Make sure to save room for dessert - the peach cobbler is so tasty!

2. Cafe Bombay: 2615 Briarcliff Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30329

There are a great many buffets in Atlanta, but one of the very best has to be Cafe Bombay. This strip mall joint serves up a wonderful lunch buffet.

Cafe Bombay specializes in Indian food, so trying the buffet is a great option if you are a picky eater and not quite sure what dishes you'll like. Taste them all, stress-free!

3. Ole Time's Country Buffet Savannah: 209 Stephenson Ave, Savannah, GA 31405

Olde Time's Country Buffet is a delicious locally-owned and operated chain with several locations throughout the state.

4. Bevricks CharHouse Grille: 1055 Fortner Rd, Metter, GA 30439

Bevricks is tucked away in the tiny town of Metter, population of 4,000. It's just off I-16, making it a convenient spot for weary travelers, but it's delicious enough to draw locals towards the highway.

Bevericks offers up an array of meats and sides, friendly service, and even beautiful pond views.

5. Tim's Lighthouse Seafood Buffet and Country Cookin': 163 Main St, Milner, GA 30257

Love seafood? How about endless seafood? Tim's Lighthouse Buffet is another great small-town buffet in Georgia. It's hidden away in Milner, a town with a population of under 1,000.

The buffet has several different price points, so you don't have to pay the full price if you're not interested in getting seafood. The menu changes regularly, so you never know what you'll find on the buffet!

6. I Love Country Buffet: 300 W Clinton St Suite A, Gray, GA 31032

Fans of country cooking will not want to miss the delicious I Love Country Buffet in Gray. It's a perfect option for families, as there are plenty of kid-friendly choices available.

7. Ivery's Restaurant: 112 Railroad St, Thomson, GA 30824

Ivery's Restaurant is a tasty soul food spot in Thomson that's full of flavor. It's an all-you-can-eat cafeteria-style buffet.
