The Celebrity-Owned Chicken + Beer Is One Of The Best Places To Get A Bite To Eat In Georgia
Ludacris owns a popular southern comfort restaurant called Chicken + Beer located in Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
Even if you're not into reading tabloids, there's something undeniably appealing about celebrity culture. We've got plenty of famous people from Georgia to read about. Many of these celebrities were born in the Peach State and still live here today, and some even own businesses! One famous celebrity who got his start in Georgia is renowned rapper and actor Christopher Bridges, better known as Ludacris. Though born in Illinois, his family moved to Atlanta when he was nine and he soon became one of the best-known Southern hip hop artists in the country. He's won Grammy awards and has starred in several films, including movies from the Fast and the Furious franchise. But did you know he also owns a popular restaurant?
Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport has some pretty stellar food offerings. Among them, you'll find Chicken + Beer, located at gate D5.
This isn't a quick grab-and-go fast food experience, but a truly tasty meal worth savoring. The restaurant has been so successful that Ludacris opened a second location in the LAX airport.
Chicken + Beer is not only an apt name to describe the menu (the restaurant serves up plenty of chicken and plenty of beer) - it's also a nod to Ludacris's third studio album, 2003's Chicken-n-Beer.
The food here is best described as southern comfort. You'll find delicacies like chicken and waffles.
However, there's plenty more to enjoy besides just chicken and beer!
The brews here are from local craft brewers, making this a great way to get a taste of Georgia beer even if you're just on a layover at the airport.
This is way better than your typical airport food, and it's no surprise it's actually been named among the city's best restaurants.
Next time you're at the Atlanta airport, stop by Chicken + Beer for a bite (or a sip). You can learn more about the restaurant from the Chicken + Beer website or Facebook page.
