When you think of Florida restaurants with a view, you probably think of a beachside eatery by the ocean, right? While it's always wonderful to dine next to sandy shores, the view from this hidden gem in Palm Coast is pretty unique. Pay a visit to High Jackers Restaurant in Florida. Here, you can enjoy a delectable meal while watching planes land!
High Jackers Restaurant sits right next to the Flagler County Airport, so guests can get an up-close view of planes taxing around the runway, taking off and landing.
Inside, you'll find license plates and memorabilia lining the walls and models of airplanes from different eras hanging from the ceiling.
The restaurant is owned by the folks who started High Tide at Snack Jack in Flagler beach, so they've brought some of that fun beachy flare to High Jackers, too. Even though there isn't an ocean view, you can still sit outside with your toes in the sand.
There's even a playground to keep the kids happy while you relax and enjoy watching the planes. They've really thought of everything!
It's one of the best family-friendly restaurants in Florida!
As for food, you can expect a menu of American comfort food and bar food staples, with lots of sandwiches, wraps, wings, and burgers.
Locals who are in the know always top by for their scrumptious peel-and-eat shrimp. This dish is slightly spicy and absolutely delicious.
So next time you're looking for a unique restaurant with a view (but you want to escape the tourists that frequent your favorite beachside spot), mix it up a bit and give High Jackers a try.
High Jackers is located at 202 Airport Road in Palm Coast.
