However, there are a few pizza gems out there in our great state if you know where to look, and in my opinion, Fat Sully's is one of them. This pizza place offers great big flat pizza slices (and whole pies) made with love and you might - for a second - feel like you're back on the east coast when you bite into one. Have you been to Denver Biscuit Company? Most folks in Denver metro have tried this place at least once if not many times before and know that the biscuit creations served there - like this one are top notch.

Denver Biscuit Company's parent company is called Atomic Cowboy. Atomic Cowboy has started branching out beyond biscuits and into pizza with its Fat Sully's pizza chain.

Nowadays, you can get Fat Sully's Pizza at any Denver Biscuit Company location. It's a two-in-one! There are several locations in our area. This one is on Quebec in Centennial.

This one's on South Broadway in Denver.

This one's on Tennyson in Denver.

There are also locations on Colfax in Denver, on South Broadway in Denver, and on S. Tejon Street in Colorado Springs.

All of these establishments are comfortable and welcoming both inside and out.

But let's get down to business, shall we? The pizza served by the Fat Sully's inside each of these buildings is spectacular. They're huge, beautiful, and tasty.

You can order a whole pie, which is gigantic, or you can order a great big slice like this one! Look! It requires TWO HANDS!

Of course, you can get a slice with whatever toppings you'd like.

Toppings include everything that you'd expect from a place like this and more! Choose from a variety of vegetables, cheeses, and meats to make your huge slice personal and perfect for you.

Or you can just go simple and get something like plain ol' pepperoni.

No matter what you choose, you're going to be amazed by the size and quality of these slices.

Fat Sully's markets itself as NEW YORK PIZZA and that's a bold statement in Colorado - but it fits the bill. It may not be TRUE New York pizza, but it's pretty darn close for a spot west of the Mississippi.

You'll probably end up ordering more than you can consume in one sitting. Don't be afraid to take some home for later.
