How have we made it this long into the year without visiting the oldest restaurant in Colorado? Let's change that, shall we? Summer is in full swing, so what better time than now to hike the jaw-dropping Seven Falls and dine at the waterside Restaurant 1858? Whether you're eating solo, with someone you love, or with a large group, you will never forget your first trip to this historic Colorado gem.
July: Mountain View Yogurt Plus (Woodland Park)
In the summertime, when the weather is high, nothing satisfies quite like ice cream, one of our favorites, oh which, comes via Mountain View Yogurt! Need we mention there are 35+ flavors plus tantalizing toppings?
August: Greeley Pizza Co. (Greeley)
School will be back in session soon, so what better time to go out for a slice (or 5) of pizza from your favorite pizzeria? For us, the best pies come from the Greeley Pizza Co., which serves made-from-scratch pizza, wings, breadsticks, and more.
September: The Railyard (La Junta)
Colorado got its start with the railroad, so it should only make sense that we have a train-themed restaurant on our list. Welcome to the charming Railyard, a welcoming small-town eatery complete with railroad decor, all of your favorite drinks, and delicious home-cooked grub.
October: Linger (Denver)
It's the spookiest time of the year, and there is no better place to dine than the old Olinger Mortuary! Okay, so it isn't technically still a mortuary, but rather the trendy Linger Eatury, which boasts not only delicious food but coffin-shaped menus, formaldehyde water bottles, and other morbid touches.
November: Ski Tip Lodge (Keystone)
Slopes are open, and you know what that means... it's après season! If you need to refuel after a long day of skiing, treat yourself to a 4-course at the beautiful Ski Tip Lodge. Bon appétit!
