We have some pretty amazing restaurants here in Southern California that aren't just delicious, but they've also stood the test of time. Take a look at these ten iconic SoCal eateries to see just how long some of these landmark restaurants have been around. Any favorites on the list?

1. Sycamore Inn -- 8318 Foothill Blvd inRancho Cucamonga, CA.

Long before the freeway system was built in Southern California, this historic steakhouse was a stopping point for travelers who made their way down Route 66. Today it still captures that classic feel even though it caters to the modern generation.

2. Cook's Corner -- 19152 Santiago Canyon Rd inTrabuco Canyon, CA.

Cook's Corner has a long history dating back to 1926 when an old log cabin was converted into a restaurant. After changing ownership in the 1970s, this historic spot has become SoCal's most famous biker bar/restaurant that caters to the whole family -- both young and old.

3. Taix French Restaurant -- 1911 W Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles, CA.

Established in 1927, this historic gem has been serving mouthwatering French cuisine for 90 years. Not only is the food divine, but knowing this is a family business that has been passed down for generations makes the experience at Taix one to savor.

4. The Red Fox Steakhouse and Piano Bar -- 2223 El Cajon Blvd in San Diego, CA.

Known for great steaks and strong cocktails, this iconic restaurant in San Diego looks and feels like it belongs in a different decade...or maybe even a different century. Perhaps that's because some of the wood inside this restaurant comprising the bar, fireplace, and the mantel can be traced back to England in the 1600s where these pieces originated in the original Red Fox Room before these items were shipped to the states. Now that's some history!

5. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant -- Knott's Berry Farm Marketplaceat 8039 Beach Blvd in Buena Park, CA.

Although this spot has recently been remodeled, the history of the Knott family restaurant has not been forgotten. Since 1934 when Cordelia Knott started serving chicken dinners on the family farm, this historic restaurant has been a popular destination for locals, visitors and tourists.

6. The Saugus Cafe -- 25861 Railroad Ave inSanta Clarita, CA

Since 1905, this diner in Santa Clarita has been a local destination for great food and friendly service. The classic diner menu serves all of your favorites including sandwiches, burgers, salads and some signature dishes.

7. The Dresden -- 1760 N Vermont Ave in Los Angeles, CA.

Since 1954, The Dresden in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles has been a classic place to see and be seen while dining on exceptional cuisine. Popular selections include mouthwatering steaks, lobster tail served with melted butter, and other in-house specialties.

8. Harbor House Cafe -- 16341 Pacific Coast Hwy in Sunset Beach, CA.

Not only is this restaurant known for being in operation since 1939, but it's also known for being one restaurant that never closes. Head here day or night and you will always find this local gem open for business 24 hours per day.

9. Barney's Beanery -- 8447 Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood, CA

Since 1920 people have been flocking to this SoCal eatery in West Hollywood for a chance to dine on great food in a fun establishment. Although this is the first and original Barney's Beanery, you can now experience this restaurant in other locations throughout Southern California as it has since expanded from one restaurant to a total of six restaurants throughout the southern part of the state.

10. The Palms -- 701 Linden Ave in Carpinteria, CA

A classic old-time restaurant that adds a nice touch of history to the town of Capistrano. This building has been a fixture in this charming beach town since 1912 and is known for its family style setting where you can grill up your own meals.

11. The Tam O'Shanter -- 2980 Los Feliz Blvd in Los Angeles, CA

Not only has this iconic Los Angeles restaurant been in operation since 1922, but it has also been run by the same family in the same location since it opened. Now that's historic!
