Nothing Says Summer In Arkansas Like A Trip To Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

In Arkansas, you’ll find a lot of places where you can get delicious soft-serve ice cream. Many are hidden gem drive-ins and dairy bars that have literally been around forever. While these places are our favorites, I must admit that the Dairy Queen has a special place in my heart, too. Going to the Dairy Queen will always be a fond memory for me and nothing says summer in Arkansas than a trip to get one of their classic blizzards. If you love these sweet delights from this national ice cream chain, then come with me to the Dairy Queen Grill & Chill to grab one of our favorite summertime treats.

If you live in Arkansas, chances are, you've been to a Dairy Queen. With over 30 locations throughout the state, you're sure to find one within miles of where you live.

Though it's a national chain, this ice cream shop has been a staple in Arkansas for many years.

While it's mostly known for their classic blizzards and soft serve ice-cream, the Dairy Queen also serves mouthwatering burgers, chicken strips, chili cheese dogs, and more.

The sundaes are always a good choice, as you can add your favorite toppings to them. There are also milkshakes, malts, hand dipped cones, and banana splits.

To be honest, you can't go wrong with any of their sweet treats, but in my opinion, nothing beats the classic blizzards.

There are endless flavors and mix-ins to choose from including favorites like chocolate chip cookie dough, turtle pecan cluster, Heath, and Oreo, just to name a few. Not to mention the special summer, holiday, and limited edition flavors.

In the summer, most folks will make a trip to the Dairy Queen just to enjoy these sweet sensations.

Of course, the little ones can't get enough of these blizzards, too. The soft serve treats will always put a smile on their faces.

My favorite part about getting a blizzard is flipping it upside down, to make sure the ice cream is secure.

Aside from the food and blizzards, the Dairy Queen has ice cream birthday cakes, too. For kids with summer birthdays, this will be the ultimate treat for them.

No matter if you get a sundae, a blizzard, or a regular soft serve ice-cream cone, going to the Dairy Queen Grill & Chill will always be a fun activity in Arkansas when the weather is warm outside.
