Burgers, tacos, pizzas, wings, and everything in between, are just some of the bar delights that us foodies love to indulge in. And while there are plenty of places in Arkansas that serve these mouthwatering eats, there is one spot that is taking it to a whole ‘nother level. Brick and Forge aka The Forge is a local tavern in Conway dishing up some of the best bar food in Arkansas. Come hungry because you’re about to enter a foodie’s paradise unlike any other.
Calling all foodies in Arkansas, come with me to explore the menu at Brick and Forge Taproom in Conway.
Formerly known to locals as Old Chicago, the beloved tavern is a great place for family, friends, and business colleagues. This is one of two locations, the other in Killeen, Texas.
Inside you'll find a classic taproom with a full bar, flat screen TVs, and lots of seating. I especially love the exposed brick walls as they give the place that neighborhood feel.
If you love craft beers, then you can find a wide selection at The Forge. If you can't decide, opt for a flight and sample multiple beers on tap.
As far as the menu goes, you'll find shareable plates, pizzas, handhelds, salads, tacos, and more. Anything you're craving, you'll find it at this beloved tavern.
One of the favorite items on the menu are the shareable specialty roles. Choose from the chicken cordon bleu or the BBQ pulled pork, both are as delicious as they sound.
Other sharable items include the giant pork nachos, jumbo wings, spinach dip, as well as fried pickles. These loaded nachos are piled high, and the flavors are on point.
Spice them up by adding extra jalapeños!
If you're craving pizza, then you'll be happy to know that you can select from the specialty pies or build your own pizza with the toppings your foodie heart desires.
My mouth is watering for the Big Italian pizza that's topped with alfredo sauce, Italian sausage, ham, meatballs, mozzarella, bacon, and jalapenos. This is pure deliciousness!
You haven't lived until you've tried the chicken and waffles. The chicken is literally the size of your plate, and this sweet and salty combination is to die for.
Other entrees include a hand-cut ribeye steak, oven-baked pastas, seafood selections, and so much more.
Of course, there are also sandwiches and burgers on the menu. This Forged in Fire creation is topped with a half-pound steak patty, fire roasted jalapenos, crispy bacon, and queso blanco.
This creation takes burgers to a whole 'nother level!
Catfish street tacos...need I say more? Tuesdays will never be the same.
My favorite meal is brunch because I get to enjoy the best of both worlds. And at The Forge, the brunch selections are out of this world.
From the avocado toast to the maple butter hotcakes to the sunrise burger, there is no bad choice. Don't skip the bacon fried cinnamon roll. They are literally what a foodie's dreams are made of.
Moreover, drinks are a must! So, be sure to enjoy a few cocktails, while you're brunching it up at the Brick & Forge Taproom.
If you're a true foodie or a foodie at heart, chances are, this neighborhood tavern will be your new favorite spot.
