Arizona's only underground restaurant, The Salt Cellar has been delighting Scottsdale with New England-inspired seafood since 1971.
You'll find the restaurant on North Hayden Road.
Inside, the atmosphere is sleek and sophisticated without being overly fancy.
Patrons can choose between a seat at a regular table or at the full bar, which features Happy Hour from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. until closing.
The dining area is an intimate, subterranean hideout tucked away down three flights of antique wooden stairs.
Nautical décor imparts a charming seaside feel, while rich mahogany walls and leather-backed seats take you back to the Gatsby era.
When it comes to the menu, your taste buds are in for quite the culinary adventure.
Maine lobster is a staple and served year-round, but you'll also encounter seasonal selections sourced from all over the world.
For all the landlubbers out there, a wide variety of beef and chicken dishes are also available.
