Nothing beats dinner with a view, and Top of the Rock at the Marriott Phoenix Resort Hotel Tempe at The Buttes offers just that. One of the best sunset restaurants in Arizona, this scenic locale lets you gaze out towards the horizon while taking in panoramic mountain vistas. The food is out of this world, too!
The Marriott Phoenix Resort Tempe at The Buttes is situated just minutes from South Mountain Park.
In the shadow of the towering peaks, this luxurious getaway is a desert oasis where dreams and reality become one and the same.
If you aren't looking for an overnight stay, you can still experience the hotel's grandeur with a meal at Top of the Rock Restaurant.
Serving up both delicious, farm-to-table cuisine and unparalleled Valley views, this world-class eatery is so much more than a great place to grab a meal.
While there is plenty of indoor seating available, the very best views can be enjoyed from the patio.
Facing the mountains, this elevated terrace is one of the best places to watch an iconic Arizona sunset.
As far as the food, the menu is New American with a Southwestern flare.
You'll also see other globally-inspired eats, from appetizers like Thai shrimp to entrees such as miso-glazed sea bass.
Entrees range from roast chicken to seared duck to tender, juicy bone-in pork chops.
There are also several fresh salads to choose from, plus a meatless eggplant and tempeh dish.
Three different steaks are also on offer: an 8-ounce filet mignon, a 14-ounce New York strip, and a 16-ounce ribeye.
All steaks are served with potato puree, asparagus spears, and natural au jus lie - but limited-time chef specials shake things up from time to time!
There is also a 24-ounce steak for two featuring black truffle ghee, plus your choice of two sides and either a soup or salad.
