Looking for some seriously good late night food? This Russian restaurant in Alaska checks all of the boxes, especially the delicious part! Chow down on the best Russian dumplings you’ll find in Alaska’s biggest city at Anchorage Pel’Meni, located right downtown. This place is even open late on the weekends... which means you can get great food whenever the craving strikes.
There’s a new restaurant in town, and it’s called Anchorage Pel’Meni.
Serving up Russian dumplings, this place is filled with delicious food. And the best part? It’s open really late, too, so you can get your cravings all night long.
The owner, Mark Moore, has been slinging Russian dumplings for 15 years.
He started in Juneau at their Pel’meni restaurant, before partnering with Juneau’s owner and opening a new one in Sitka. Now he’s in Anchorage, and we are so glad to have him!
You can order two types of these delicious dumplings: beef or potato.
These dishes have a new twist on this favorite classic: you can find toppings like curry and cilantro, sriracha sauce, and of course sour cream.
Pel’meni dumplings have been around for centuries.
Tasty and nutritious, the dumplings were originally made to bring along on hunts in Siberia. But we’re just as happy eating them in the restaurant, or at home as take out!
Pel’Meni’s restaurant is located on K Street, right across from the Hotel Captain Cook.
It’s the perfect location for walk-ins after the bars let out, or just a great place to grab a bite to eat for dinner. There’s an Easy Park lot across the street, or metered street parking available nearby.
This spot is open seven days a week.
Get your great eats from Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. through 12 a.m. And on Fridays and Saturdays, they don’t close until 3 a.m.!
If you can’t wait another minute for delicious dumplings, head right on over.
There’s so few restaurants in the city open this late. But this might just be our new favorite!
