Few People Know There’s A Florida Island You Can Walk To
Realistically, when most people hear the word “island” they would immediately assume that the location is only accessible by boat, ferry, or other aquatic means of transportation. Rightly so. However, there is one island in Florida that few people know they can actually walk to. Not only is this island a spectacular place to spend time, but it also provides stunning, sweeping views of the ocean.

A few pro tips for walking to Caladesi Island:
Pack water and light snacks.
Begin the walk just as the ocean is transitioning from high tide to low tide. This way you can make it back before high tide.
If high tide rolls in, it isn’t the end of the world, but you’ll just be in some serious water up to your knees!
Don’t be afraid to get your feet wet.
