Situated in Central Florida is an 89-acre nonprofit resort called Give Kids The World Village. Providing critically ill children and their families a week-long wish vacation at no cost, this magically unique resort in Kissimmee, Florida, brings happiness and joy to all who enter. With a “storybook” theme throughout, this resort is where happiness inspires hope, especially regarding the fairytale-esque attractions and amenities inside.
Give Kids The World Village is a whimsical nonprofit resort that deserves to be honored for all that they do. A stay at the Village allows families to create and share priceless memories as they are reminded of the simple joys of childhood.
One way to do this during a visit is by checking out all of the magical structures that are included within the grounds.
Guests can feel like they’ve stepped into their favorite storybook with the amenities and attractions.
One of the latest additions to the grounds is the Serendipity, an ADA-accessible pirate ship that spans 90 feet and is built to withstand the state's subtropical climate.
But what’s even more special about this giant pirate ship is that it was built off-site during a year-long, very labor-intensive process before being disassembled and then delivered to the Village. It took two days to install with the help of a crane.
Since 1986, Give Kids The World Village has welcomed over 187,000 families from all 50 states plus 76 different countries.
Thanks to generous partners, donors, and community advocates, this wonderful Village still brings joy and smiles to families from around the globe.
