The story begins in 1956, when Ray and Russel Knaus began growing strawberries and set up a roadside stand to sell what they grew.
Ray’s wife Barbara began baking, which was then added into the mix for the stand, and eventually became a community hit.
Knaus Berry Farm has grown throughout the years, selling strawberries, assorted baked goods, U-pick vegetables, ice cream, and of course, their cinnamon buns.
Open seasonally from November through mid-April, visitors must bring cash to the farm store if they want to walk away with anything.
You have your pick of buying a single cinnamon bun, a half dozen, or an even dozen—basically, whatever you can fit in your arms, you’ll be good to go.
