The Holiday Lights Tour In This Wyoming Town Was Named The Best In The State And You Won’t Want To Miss It
When you're on the hunt for dazzling holiday lights displays, nothing beats sitting back and letting someone else take you right to them. In Wyoming, that's not just wishful thinking - it's a Christmas reality.
During the holidays, the Cheyenne Trolley goes festive, decking out in holiday décor of its own and welcoming visitors to hop aboard for a tour of the sparkling decorations and home displays throughout the city. There's no better way to experience the excitement of the season and, in fact, the Cheyenne Trolley Holiday Lights Tour was recently named the best in the state.
Each December, the Cheyenne Street Railway Trolley gets in the Christmas spirit.
The trolley is already painted holiday red and green - all it needs is a festive Christmas wreath or Santa decoration for the front, and it's ready to roll!
The conductors don season-appropriate wear and call holiday travelers to climb aboard.
Then, it's off to view the spectacular light displays throughout the city.
Tours are at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. daily through Christmas Eve.
Naturally, the conductors know where all the best lights displays are.
Cheyenne residents go all out with the decorations. Visiting many of the neighborhoods is like driving through an enchanting storybook village.
You'll even get to visit the Hemi Lighted Forest of Hope just outside of Cheyenne, one of the best-known and best all-around Christmas light attractions in the state.
It's worth the price of a ticket to know you won't miss one sparkling display.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children. Chartered tours for large groups can be booked, as well.
The Cheyenne Trolley will be giving tours through December 24, so there's still time to experience the magic and glitter of this delightful holiday excursion.
