When you think of Wyoming festivals, the first thing that comes to mind is the rodeo. Many of our towns, both small and large, have huge summer rodeos that bring in tourists, locals, and a whole lot of business, boosting local economies and giving everyone a dose of Wild West fun. While rodeos are fun, many people don't realize there's more to the Cowboy State than, well, cowboys! If you're looking for an unusual Wyoming summer festival, head over to Casper for what we think just might be the best hot air balloon festival in Wyoming - the Casper Balloon Roundup.

The balloon journey starts with getting them all to the launch site.
