Astoria Hot Springs in Jackson, Wyoming, offers a relaxing experience with stunning natural views and multiple pools for visitors to enjoy.
One of the best parts about Wyoming is the natural beauty. Almost everywhere you turn, you see something undeniably gorgeous. And one of our favorite places to admire all that beauty has to be from a hot spring — especially the Astoria Hot Springs. You get to soak and relax while admiring great views!
Astoria Park itself, located in Jackson, Wyoming, is an absolutely stunning place devoted to community and conservation.
The park is nearly 100 acres and includes critical wildlife habitat and wetlands, the hot springs facility, and plenty of hiking trails.
Most people come to visit the Astoria Hot Springs. Not only is it so relaxing soaking in these steaming pools, they also have some beautiful views.
The mountains that surround the area are so gorgeous, you'll find it hard to leave.
And hot springs are great to visit all year round — especially during the winter!
The juxtaposition of the boiling water and snowy mountains is fascinating. (Oh, and the hot springs here are natural!)
There are multiple pools to choose from. A lot of people love the Leisure Pool, the largest one that's great for groups.
There is also the shallow one, the Children's Pool.
The River Soaking pools allow for more quiet and seclusion. It's the perfect place to de-stress and enjoy a soak.
They feature views of the Snake River, which is always a gorgeous sight.
There are grab-and-go snacks available here, as well as playgrounds and picnic areas.
Reservations are highly recommended, so pick a date and make a day trip out of it!
Astoria Hot Springs in Wyoming is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the year except select holidays. Pool passes are $18 for adults and $14 for children 2 to 12 years old. It's free for children under 2! Local residents (those who live in Teton County, Sublette County, or Lincoln County) get discounts: just $14 for adults and $10 for children ages 2 to 12 years old.
