The North Pole might be a little closer than you realize. This year, if you want to visit Santa's home, disregard the North Star and set your coordinates for Calumet County. Just north of Chilton, the North Pole Christmas Village is one of the best small-town Wisconsin family Christmas experiences. The village takes visitors into a Christmas wonderland, and even the biggest Grinches will receive a big dose of holiday cheer. Here’s what you need to know about the North Pole Christmas Village:

The North Pole Christmas Village is located just northeast of Chilton, WI. It’s an easy drive from places like Green Bay and the Fox Valley.

The North Pole Christmas town bills itself as Northern Wisconsin's largest indoor animated walk-thru experience, and it’s filled with classic holiday displays, including skating penguins and Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer.

Recently new to the village is a massive Teddy Bear Village – this is the only holiday venue in the Midwest that has this type of display.

You can feel good while visiting the village. It was created to benefit people with disabilities, and it collects donations for area food banks.
