The Country Christmas Trail In Wisconsin Is Positively Enchanting

Wisconsin has a lot of amazing light displays, but the biggest of all can be found in southeast Wisconsin. A winter wonderland called Country Christmas is Wisconsin's largest drive-through Christmas display. It’s located at the Ingleside Hotel, and it has an amazing holiday trail you’ll want to follow this season. Here’s why.

The event is located at Ingleside Hotel, a hotel and event center in Pewaukee that’s a year-round getaway destination. It has a popular 45,000-square-foot indoor waterpark that’s an oasis on cold Wisconsin days.

During the holiday season, you’ll want to venture outside the hotel for Ingleside’s Country Christmas – it includes special displays you can see on foot and by car.

The Country Christmas Trail is a driving route through the woods that will take you into a dazzling wonderland of light. It features over a million holiday lights adorning displays that are strung along a mile-long trail.

On the trail, you’ll pass two miniature villages: Prairieville and Old Time Waukesha. You’ll also travel through a 200-foot tunnel of lights. Once you reach the end of the trail, you’ll want to get out of your car because there are more festive displays ahead – Christmas Village and The Streets of Bethlehem.

Kids of all ages love the Christmas Village. It has a working model train display, and there’s a concession area with refreshments for sale.

Finish your experience at Streets of Bethlehem. It has a near life-size Fontanini nativity display, a replica of the one found at the Vatican.
