This Old School Amusement Park In Wisconsin Has Stood The Test Of Time

Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay, Wisconsin offers a historic and budget-friendly amusement experience with rides costing just 25 cents each.

Amusement parks are a ton of fun, no doubt about it. But they are super expensive. And the rides can be insane, especially for people with small children or those who aren't thrill seekers. However, amusement parks weren't always that way. They weren't always sprawling places that cost a bunch of money. Unfortunately, few of those places exist anymore. One place that still exists is in Green Bay, Wisconsin: Bay Beach Amusement Park. It is a real blast from the past.

This park dates back to the 1890s.

It has seen many different iterations--from a beach to a boat rental place.

Tickets are just 25 cents a piece.

There are 16 carnival rides to choose from.

One ride, the Zippin Pippin, was transported to Green Bay. It was one of Elvis' favorite rides.

In addition to the amusement park, there is also mini golf and bumper boats.

In 2017 and 2018, two more rides will be added to the park.

It is a wonderful place to take the family and spend the day (and not a lot of dough).
