The Pumpkin House in Kenova, West Virginia, decorated with over 3000 hand-carved pumpkins, attracts 30,000 visitors annually and inspires town-wide Halloween festivities.

It all started in 1978. The owner of a historic Victorian house in Kenova, West Virginia decided to decorate for Halloween with 5 pumpkins. Over the years, the number of pumpkins grew, until soon there were over 3000 pumpkins each year! The house became a tourist attraction, and soon the whole town got into the spirit of Halloween.

It's decorated with over 3000 pumpkins that are carved by hand.

30,000 visitors come to see the house each year.

You'll find whimsical pumpkin scenes around the yard.

There's even a pumpkin orchestra.

Each pumpkin is carved with a musical instrument, and the display is set to light up in time with music.

It's even more impressive at night!

The town of Kenova is proud of this house, too.

Other homes around town get elaborate with their decorations as well, and a festival happens each year.
