West Virginia’s largest yard sale, spanning Upshur and Lewis Counties, offers a massive treasure hunt for bargain hunters.

Mark your calendars: West Virginia's largest yard sale, spanning two entire counties (Upshur and Lewis) is back and bigger than ever. With hundreds of families expected to participate, who knows what kind of not-to-miss bargains and treasures will be hidden away at these sales. It will be like a huge treasure hunt!

On August 6 and August 7, 2021, bargain hunters within reach of Lewis and Upshur Counties are in for a treat: West Virginia's largest garage sale.

Stretching from Buckhannon to Weston, and featuring plenty of side streets in between, this yard sale is the epitome of the multi-family yard sale. Instead of three or four families, hundreds of families throughout Upshur and Lewis Counties are expected to participate!

In fact, according to the yard sale planning page, shoppers come all the way from Florida to hunt for goodies at this massive sale. It's that good.

If you're interested in shopping, be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and pack plenty of water. Most sale hosts will have some bags for you to carry your purchases, but it never hurts to have a few extra just in case! And of course, bring plenty of cash, including coins, so you can take advantage of all the bargains.

If you live in Upshur or Lewis Counties and you are interested in decluttering via yard sale, you can sign up to be an official stop on the yard sale map. There's no better time to meet new people and send them home with all your old stuff.

Have you ever shopped or sold in the Upshur and Lewis County Yard Sale? Are you planning to again this year?
