The Best View in Tysons Is from This Rooftop
Discover a hidden rooftop in Tysona, Virginia, with the best views around, offering a unique perspective, great atmosphere, and unforgettable scenery.
Capital One Drive may sound like a destination for entrepreneurs and financial enthusiasts. In reality, the NoVA road is a gateway to one of the best hidden spots in Tysons, Virginia. From a passerby's view, the freshly-paved street is lined with shiny new office buildings with restaurants at the ground level. Stellina Pizzeria, Ometeo, and WREN are all worthwhile stops—but it’s what sits high above the street that’s beckoning singles, couples, friends, families, and even dogs.
Enter: The Perch @ Capital One Center, a 2.5-acre sky retreat, complete with a beer garden, amphitheater, putt-putt course, lawn games, and plenty of dining and beverage options, all surrounded by stunning views. One of the best date night ideas in Northern Virginia, not to mention one of the best places to throw a surprise party (I successfully surprised my now-fiancé with a putt-putt party and beer garden hang for his 33rd birthday when we first started dating two years ago), this rooftop in Tysons, Virginia, is one you most definitely won’t want to miss. Keep reading to learn why.
Why This Hidden Rooftop Has the Best View in Tysons, Virginia
Many hidden gems in Virginia revolve around natural wonders and mom-and-pop shops. The Perch @ Capital One Center still makes our list, though, because quite frankly, it’s in a class of its own. As the predominant scenic rooftop bar in Tysons, Virginia, The Perch has ushered in a loyal fanbase of locals and visitors alike who have caught wind of the venue’s sights, sounds, and sustenance since first opening (and circulating on social media) in 2021. Still, since it’s nestled high atop a glossy skyscraper in what used to be considered nothing more than Capital One’s Headquarters, some people still pass it by, forgetting that millions were invested into transforming the office space into a mixed-use urban development with restaurants, shops, and even a performing arts center. All in all, it’s because of this extensive development that The Perch has the best view in Tysons, Virginia. After all, it’s the only notable rooftop in the area, let alone the only sky park.
